I don't think it's useful. Hong Kong is now a very good place for the education business. That's why many organizations wants to take advantage of the situation. It doesn't worth the money, unless you want the qualification. Don't think you will learn much.
I doubt the 'usefulness' of the CT course in HK. One of my friends indeed took the CT course, but except you can claim you attained the CT and raise your teaching fees significantly, I don't think there are of any practical use.
