agree. I don't know whether you realise: men with character and masculinity are hard to find now. Nowadays, if you display some masculinity (which should include character, sense of responsibility, courage, decisive, etc), you would easily get a decent girlfriend.
I think you miss my point: All I am saying is, in my opinion, as a man, you should not put all your focus on $$ and see this as your quality. Because $$ is replacable and could be quantified. Friendship (or relationship) should be build on qualities that cannot be easily quantified, or should I say "uniqueness". People want to be your friend because you possess a unique qualities or characters) that is not easy to find.
So my suggestions to all men: earning a living and saving up is important, but please don't loss your attention on other unique qualities. Just like going to school and get good grades is important, but don't spend all your time to study, have a balanced life, I think both you and people around you will be more relaxed and happier.

1)找到給自己繼續存在的東西，每個人都有些出入(其實男女一樣)
2)這個要看他是一個自我的人,還是一個把大部份人的價值觀放在自己身上的人
